Https//Rashtragaan.In: In celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Government of India invites citizens to participate in creating a “Rashtra Gaan” record by singing the National Anthem. This initiative, announced by the Prime Minister during his “Mann Ki Baat” address on 25th July 2021, aims to unite Indians in commemorating 75 years of India’s Independence.

The objective is to gather the “maximum number of Indians” to sing the National Anthem together, showcasing unity and patriotism. A compilation of uploaded videos will be broadcasted live on 15th August 2021, as part of the celebrations.
Steps to Participate: Rashtra Gaan Certificate
- Visit the Portal: Open the official website https://rashtragaan.in to begin the process.
- Initiate Recording: Click on “Proceed” or on the right corner at the bottom right (for mobile devices) to initiate the recording process.
- Enter Details: Provide your name and select your age group. Enter the country name from where the video is being recorded/uploaded. Then click on “Let’s Sing” to proceed.
- Permission: Align your face to the screen and grant permission for the portal to record audio and video from your device.
- Record the Anthem: Press “Record” to start recording. The National Anthem’s music will begin after a countdown from 3, and the lyrics will be displayed for reference.
- Review and Upload: After recording, review the video and ensure satisfaction with the playback. If satisfied, proceed to upload the video.
- Download Certificate: Upon successful uploading of the National Anthem, a ‘certificate of participation’ will be automatically issued. Download the certificate and share it on social media platforms tagging #rashtragaan and the Mission’s Twitter handle (IndiainDRC) & Facebook (IndiainDRC).
